The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Pumpkin Pie card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.
Then I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock that will be added to the front later.
I cut three strips of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Frightfully Fun" 12" x 12" package. My strips are from three different designs and I cut them at 3-3/4" x 1-5/8" each. I made three cards using this layout. I taped these strips to the Basic Black piece and then it was taped to the front of the card base.
The tag was die cut next and the spider webs were stamped using Basic Black ink. I die cut the bats and star pieces. The bats were cut from Basic Black card stock and the stars from Crushed Curry card stock. I glued the pieces in place. As usual, I colored in the bats eyes using my Real Red marker. Dimensionals were added to the back of the tag and it was set in place on the left side of the card.
I stamped the words next using Basic Black ink. The stars were stamped using Crushed Curry ink. Dimensionals were added to the right side and tape to the left and it was set in place on the front of the card.
A cute bat was added from the "Bats, Ghosts and Dots" package. I also added a few of the dots too. It will be nice not to have a ton of those left in the package when the cute bats and ghosts were used up.
This was a fun, quick and easy card to make. I have one that will be heading to the mailbox for a special friend.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
