Dainty Delight, Valentines Day Card, Thinking of You Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello! So happy you found your way here today. I have a fun layout to share with you. I found it on Pinterest but I changed it a lot. You can see the original card here. (edited on 2/7, the link is broken and I don't know why)

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Poppy Parade card stock. This card opens on the right and thee fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock for the inside and one for the outside. I taped them both in place.

Next I cut a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Country Floral Lane" 12" x 12" package. I taped that piece to the front of the card.

The circles were what drew me to the card. I loved that layout on the one I saw on Pinterest and thought I'd convert it into something that I had the materials for. The circles are from the "Stylish Shapes" set, I used the second largest and the second smallest. The fun part with this is you get to use the circle you punch out on the same card. No having to hang onto it for a future card. I added Dimensionals behind the larger circle and set it in place on the front of the card. Then I added the smaller circle using a Dimensional on the left side and tape on the right side.

A heart was fussy cut from the same DSP. I added a Dimensional to the back and set it in place on the small heart.

The springs are from the "Dainty Delight" bundle. I die cut three of them and added the little hearts I saved from the "Framed Florets" bundle. I had made a couple of cards a while back and I saved the hearts from the oval die. I save everything!!  You never know when you'll need it.  After die cutting the three  pieces using Basic White card stock, I colored the stems with my light Granny Apple Green Blends pen. Then I took the hearts and glued them to the piece. I moved them down a bit on the flowers that were on the stems so it looked like white hearts behind each flower. Then I slipped the stems into the bottom part of the circle. I had to trim each stem because they were too long. And I used them for the extra leaves in the circle.

The words are from the "Dainty Delight" set. The whole phrase was "Sending love during the season of growth" but I just wanted the "sending love" part so I masked off the other words. The piece measured 3/8" x 1-1/2". I set the words in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.

This was a fun card to make and I still really like the circles layout!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's card,
Wanda

This card layout is AWESOME.
The little circle cut-out on largest circle is BRILLANT.

Love this clever layout with the circles! I'm going to see what I can come up with to make one. (I couldn't open the link to the one you saw on Pinterest.)

The link is broken. I'm not sure why.
