Caroling Mice, Santa Express, Christmas Card, 2022 Stampin' Up! Fall Catalog

I liked how I colored the mouse so much yesterday that I thought I'd go with the same colors on today's card. Though featuring the mouse in the circle ring on yesterday's card makes the mouse look larger. Funny how our eyes deceive us.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I took the "fa-la-la-la-la" Designer Series Paper (DSP) circle from yesterday's card and thought I'd work it into a card and I was thrilled that it worked.  I had used the second largest die from the "Stylish Shapes" die set and the DSP is from the "Santa Express". I also die cut the green DSP from the same set but used the next size stitched circle smaller.

The mouse was stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock and was colored in using my light and dark Blends pens. I used Smoky Slate, Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green and I used the dark Petal Pink. Once I was done coloring I die cut it with the third largest stitched circle die.

I took a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and my Blending Brush and scrubbed on some Granny Apple Green ink.

Next I taped the red circle down and then the green on top. The white circle was set in place using Dimensonals.  I set the piece in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals.

Then I printed the words on my computer because I didn't have very many holiday words and I really wanted "Fa-la-la-la-la" on the card. I used Comic Sans MS 16pt for the words and I used the RGB code for Poppy Parade. R-230, G-6, B-45.  I printed it out on a piece of Basic White card stock and die cut it with the stitched ribbon die in the same "Stylish Shapes" die set. I set the word piece in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals. And the card was done.

This was a fun and quick card to make, plus I got to use that scrap circle from yesterday's card!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
