Color & Contour, Hues of Happiness, Thank You Card, Stampin' Up!

I needed a thank you card today and this is what I came up with.

I used a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I die cut the edge using the stitched scalloped border from the "Color & Contour" bundle. I started it in about 1" from the side edge of the card. I took a 1-1/4" x 5-1/2" strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Awash in Beauty" 12" x 12" package. I still have a lot of paper in that package to use up!! I know it's a long time till the new annual catalog comes out but what happens is the spring mini comes out and there's usually DSP in there that goes with the sets that will be tempting me and the DSP I have gets set aside. That's how you create a big stash.  See, it's a stash and not hoarding. I'm not afraid to use it, just don't get to use it all before I find something new! Anyway, I taped that DSP strip to the inside of the card.

The flowers were fussy cut from a sheet in the "Hues of Happiness" DSP 12" x 12" package. I fussy cut the small leaves but the flowers and other leaves were die cut. Gotta love those matching dies!!

The words are from the "Color & Contour" set and were stamped using black Memento ink.

I set the largest flower in place using Dimensionals. Then I taped the two smaller ones under it. I added some tape behind the leaves and slipped them under the flowers and the card was done.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
