Eden's Garden, Wonderful World, Get Well Card, Stampin' Up!

I found this gem on the internet and knew I just had to make it. I dove right in and after I had gotten going I saw all the fussy cutting.  But I endured it and you can see how it turned out (with a few little changes). I found the card here.  I was looking for a get well card, though this card could be used for many other occasions just by changing the wording. It's such a fun and pretty card.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

A 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White card stock was cut for the top layer.

I die cut 4 circles. Three using the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Wonderful World" 12" x 12" package.  And the 4th circle was die cut from a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I used the 1-7/8" circle die from the "Layering Circles" die set.

The words are from the "Eden's Garden" set and were stamped using black Memento ink.

The two pinkish circles were set in place first. I set them in opposite corners.  I was going to try to do that with the other two circles but the purple flowers wouldn't let me. So I taped the left one in place and set the word one aside for the time being.

Next I fussy cut the flowers from two different sheets in the "Wonderful World" DSP package. This is when I realized I should have paid better attention to what I was getting into. I was fine with the fussy cutting until I saw the purple flowers.  But I did stick with it and was glad I did. SO once the fussy cutting was done, I added Dimensionals behind the large white flower and it's leaves.  Oh, the leaves on the upper left were from another flower and were tucked in after the white one was set in place. Then the word piece was set in place. I used Dimenisonals on the right side and glue on the other. I also held the purple one over the word piece as I set it in place to make sure it would all look good when I was done. Once the words were in place, I took some thick linen thread I had and made three loops. I actually stapled it to the front of the card, at the area where the word piece would cover it.

The word piece was set in place and then the ends of the linen threads were glued together and tucked under. I added a dot of glue where the threads meet to hold them together more.

Now it was time to add the purple flowers. I added tape to the top three and a dot of glue to the bottom one. I positioned them so the words would still show.  And that was it. Other than the fussy cutting, I didn't mind making the card. I think I'm whining a bit too much there because I'd make another one in a heartbeat!!!  Isn't it pretty?  See why I couldn't pass it up?

Thank you ever SO much for taking your time to see this pretty get well card,
Wanda

Hello Wanda! This is a beautiful card and I love how you layered the fussy cut flowers! I've been meaning to send you a note for the gorgeous card you so generously sent to me...hubby got Covid, dog ate something and was sick, I've been a chicken running around without a head, but, my note to you is coming! Have a lovely evening!

Your card turned out beautifully! Great job! I've made several cards using die cut circles and love the look. I'm not big on fussy cutting either but will do it now and then.
