Colorful Season, Seasonal Layers Dies, Thanksgiving Card

I took out my new "Harvest Hellos" set and I was going to make a Thanksgiving card with it but decided to use the dies from the "Seasonal Layers" that was part of the bundle from the "Colorful Season" set.  This was a fun and easy card to make.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White that I textured using the "Subtle" embossing folder.  I didn't set it in place yet, I worked the other elements first.

I die cut the branch from the "Seasonal Layers" die set using Early Espresson card stock. I glued it in place.  I did trim off the end of it a little. It was hanging over. I planned it that way so I could get it on the edge and a clean cut.

Then I die cut the leaves from the same set using Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze card stock.  I sponged the leaves using Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze inks.  I set some in place with snail tape and some with Dimensionals. I did cut off the stem on one of them to make it fit in better.

The words were done on my computer. I printed them on Whisper White card stock. I die cut them with an oval die and I die cut an Early Espresso scalloped oval for the back layer. I taped the two together and then I set them in place using Dimensionals.

I added Dimensionals to the back of the 4" x 5-1/4" piece and set it in place on the card base.  And that was it. Super easy and quick.  I felt it could use a pumpkin though, it's a Thanksgiving card after all.  Tomorrow I'll see what I can come up with using the "Harvest Hello" set. I need to make one more Thanksgiving card.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda

You've created an absolutely stunning card. I have always found clean and simple cards are my favorite due to a single focal point. Blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours.
