Thoughts & Prayers Sympathy Card

Today I was in need of a sympathy card.  It was for a man so I was looking for something that was more masculine.  I do have some in my stash but I always like to make a fresh card. I rarely use what is in my stash, I usually end up just selling them to make room for new cards!!

So, here's what I ended up doing. I grabbed a piece of decorative paper from the "Serene Scenery" 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Stack.  I LOVE those stacks because you get quite a variety of paper for your money.

I loved how this paper looked and it seemed to be perfect for a sympathy card.

I used the words from the "Thoughts & Prayers" stamp set.

I used Old Olive for the base of the card and added a layer of Always Artichoke. The words are done in Always Artichoke and I used Always Artichoke ink.

So now I'm off to write in it and head out.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

I have this DSP in 6x6 but never thought of how beautiful it is for a masculine sympathy card. Thank you for a beautiful design!
