A Flower Shop Birthday

Today I actually made a card on my own.  I didn't surf the net at all!  Yet!  LOL

I had some stamps still sitting on my worktable, (Imagine that!!!) so I thought I would play with them.  Actually, I was a bit on the lazy side and I didn't want to get up and get any other stamp sets!!! But I still had to get up and cut the papers and get the ink pads, so I guess I wasn't that lazy after all!

I used the "Flower Shop" stamp set and punch for this card.  And I used the "Petite Petals" stamp set and punch for the centers of the flowers.  Now that I did see on a card from Terri's fun Technique Night on Tuesday.

For my card I used Crisp Cantaloupe for the base of my card and for the layering.  Crisp Cantaloupe ink was used for the top flowers, Pool Party for the right flowers, and Summer Starfruit for the left flowers.  The words are from the "Simply Sketched" Hostess set and the decorative paper is from the "Sweet Sorbet" decorative paper pack.  Oh and the dotted background is from the "Decorative Dots" folder that I got free from the Sale-a-Brations book!! I LOVE it!!!  And lastly I added pearls to the center of the flowers.

This was a quick and simple card to make.  So many punches! That makes it so easy to do cards in a flash!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
