Spooky Fun, Halloween Card, Spritz Your Color Technique

This is my card for the swap tonight at Terri's Technique Tuesday.  The technique is called "Spritz Your Color".  You just stamp your image using Staz On ink and you spritz your color on. I stamped after and I used Memento ink.  So there's a couple ways you can stamp.

To get the colors, you fill your misting bottle with rubbing alcohol and add 10 drops or more of inker. Leave space in your spritzer bottle for the sprayer part to go back in.  Shake it to mix.  Spray your paper and allow to dry.  Here I used 4 colors.  I first sprayed with Emerald Envy. Then I added Marina Mist.  Then I added Night of Navy at the top.  I added a light spritz of Real Red.  Then I added another spray of Marina Mist.  Oh, I forgot to mention, I added about 10 drops from my Wink of Stella pen to the bottle to get a light glitter/glimmer to the paper.  Remember the glimmer paper that Stampin' Up! use to carry?  Just take a spritzer bottle and add rubbing alcohol and Wink of Stella without any color and spray your paper.  Viola, glimmer paper!!!

Okay, after my paper dried, which didn't take all that long, by the time I was done spraying my 12 pieces they were dry.  And if they weren't, there's always other cutting to do before the card was assembled.  But anyway, after they were dry I stamped the bats from the "Spooky Fun" set.

The moon is from a piece of Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper and I spritzed it with Daffodil Delight and Dijon Mustard.  That paper takes longer to dry.  Oh and the more you spritz on it, the more you may have to dab off with a paper towel.  The ink does not dry on the glitter very well, so you may get color on your hands if you spray too much.

This was a very fun card to make and I'm excited to see what the other gals are doing with this technique.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
