Rustic Harvest, Very Best Occasions, Thanksgiving or Thank You Card, Stampin' Up!

I found this card on Pinterest and thought the colors were so pretty that I had to make one. You can see the original card here.  This was a fun and easy card to make. Plus I really like this layout.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock to the inside.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I glued the card stock on top of the card base.

Then I cut a 5-1/4" x 1" strip of Basic Black card stock and glued it to the front of the card about 1-1/8" down from the top edge/fold.

The Basic Black square was cut at 3-1/4" x 3-1/2" and the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Rustic Harvest" 12" x 12" package was cut at 3" x 3" and then cut into three 1" strips. I taped the outside strips on first and then the center one.  It makes it a lot easier to get them spaced nicely. I added Dimensionals to the back of the piece and set it in place on the front of the card.

The words are from the "Very Best Occasions" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. I die cut them with the ribbon type die from the "Stylish Shapes" die set. I set the piece in place by using a Dimensional on the left and tape on the right.

I fussy cut a leaf from another sheet of the DSP in the same "Rustic Harvest" pack and I taped the one end and added a Dimensional to the left side and the card was done.

This was fun to make and I really like playing with this layout. I have lots of DSP and I think I'm going to look for something that will work with this layout so I can play with it again!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Thanksgiving

This is gorgeous! I may have to CASE it for one of my upcoming camps. Hope that's alright. Love the deep, dark colors. ~chris
