The "Lots of Lavender" 2018 Sale-a-Bration set turned out to be a rather fun one to play with. I was once again in the mood to color, so I colored in all the images using the new Blends pens. There is a coordinating stamp that colors in the images for you. But like I said, I was in the mood to color and it really didn't take long to color The Blends pens do all the work.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Wisteria Wonder. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" of Rose Read and the Whisper White piece was cut 3-3/4" x 5".
I die cut an oval on a piece of card stock and used it as a template. I sponged inside that oval using Crumb Cake ink. Then I stamped the flower image using black Memento ink. I colored with Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry Blends pens. After I was done coloring I used Wink of Stella on all of the flower petals, being careful not to add any to the leaves, bow or stems. I added some of the tiniest pearls to the little buds images.
The words are from the "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" set. First I stamped the frame from that set. Then I stamped the words inside that frame. I set it in place using Dimensionals. I added a couple of pearls to the frame and the card was done!
It was a lot of fun and I really think I'm going to miss this set.
