Secret Pocket Technique, Birthday Card, Happy Birthday Thinlits

I received this card from my sweet friend Colleen.  It's was made using last months stamping technique "Secret Pocket".  You open the card and on the left is a little secret pocket to slip in a gift card.  What a wonderful idea.  A gift card holder and greeting card all in one!!

This card was made using Daffodil Delight for the base. I do not know what pack the Decorative Series Paper is from.

The words are die cut from the "Happy Birthday" Thinlits die.  I found that if you add some of the "Fine Tip Glue Pen" glue to a mister bottle, you can spray on the glue and set your piece in place.  Very quick and simple, neat, clean and super easy!!!

You can see how to do this "Secret Pocket" Technique by clicking here.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

What an interesting idea about the glue. Does the mister bottle get clogged up over time? How much water do you add to the glue? This concept may need its own blog post to share this idea. I like the idea of the fine tip glue pen but don’t really like the actual glue. If it squishes out from under your cardstock it’s difficult to remove.
