Colorful Season, Sincere Salutations, Get Well Card

Several years back I had made a card like this using a tiny flower punch. I have always liked the card and with the punch being retired I was not able to make another one.  But as I was looking through my stamp sets I saw this flower in the "Colorful Seasons" set and there was a matching die in the "Seasonal Layers" thinlits pack.  SO....  here it is!!!  You can see my original card here.

The base of my card is a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4-1/8" x 2-7/8" piece of Pool Party card stock.  I chose Pool Party because I had current ribbon that color.  The Whisper White piece was cut 4" x 2-3/4".

I stamped the words.  I wanted to make a get well card but I couldn't find anything in my current sets that I liked, so I took out the retired "Sincere Salutations" set.  I have always LOVED that set.  It is one that should have never retired.  It's got sentiments for everything and the fonts are fun.  But I'm sure you can find something current to use.  Plus it's a great card for other occasions as well.  I may even make a birthday card using this layout!

Anyway, next I wrapped the ribbon around the layers, after I had taped them together.  I stamped the flowers and die cut them out.  Punches are so much quicker and use less paper but this is how it has to be now.  I had stamped the flowers using Pool Party ink.  Then I set them in place with Dimensionals.  I added a pearl to the center of each.  Then I set the panel in place using Dimensionals and that was it.  It's super easy and quick to do!  This would make a great Stamp a Stack card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

I also love Sincere Salutations and use it frequently! It is my go to set when using ovals to add a sentiment :) Great minds think alike. Plus I just love the card layout! -Autumn
