Gently Falling Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Yup, I'm using the Gently Falling and Hand-Penned Holidays sets again.  And no, they weren't just sitting out so I grabbed them. I had actually cleaned the ink off the rubber and put them back on the shelf!!

But I did actually think of cannibalizing the last card for the leaf!!  Kind of an icky term isn't it?  I learned it from Sara a fellow stamper and blogger.  You can check her blog out here.  I did end up stamping another leaf. I stamped 3 of them to be exact and I colored all three of them but I only cut one out.  I'll save the remaining two for another time.  What do you want to bet I use the Hand-Penned Holidays set with it again?  LOL

The decorative paper is from a small 6.5" x 4.5" paper stack by DCWV that I had gotten a while back at Joann's called "The High School" MatStack.  I have several of these MatStacks and most of them are not even open.  What's up with that?  It's time to use these papers.  For you Stampin' Up! demonstrators you can just substitute some designer series paper in place of the paper I used and your card will be entirely made of Stampin' Up! materials.  I looked for some fall colored Stampin' Up! paper for that #2 panel but I didn't have any so I thought it was time to play with the papers I have.

I did add some Dimensionals to the leaf. I wanted it raised up on the card, especially since I wanted some of that leaf to be offset over the white part of the card.

I added some brads to the corner and I called it done!  I will be using this card to send out to someone on my friends list.  The weekly card I send out. I have a lot of friends and it's going to take a LOT of weeks to get to the end of my list!!

If you have time I highly recommend you play with this sketch.  And if you don't like to play along you can head on over to SplitCoastStampers and see what others have done with this layout. I just love seeing other peoples take on the sketch!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
