Seasonal Chums, Toil & Trouble, Halloween Card

You almost don't need any stamps when it comes to some of these Designer Series Paper (DSP) packs.  The card made here used the "Toil & Trouble" 12" x 12" paper pack. No dies were used, just the DSP.  I found this card on the Internet. You can see the original card here.

This is a very easy card to make too.  The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock.  The card stock was cut in half on the 8-1/2" side of the paper.

I cut the front at 2-3/4" and I used that part cut off for the layering of the DSP.

I cut a 4" x 2-1/2" piece of the DSP with the adorable frogs on it.  This is the only time I like frogs, when they are drawings on paper!!! LOL I also cut a 7/8" x 4" piece of the frog DSP.  I taped a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside of the card and then added that 7/8" strip to the right side and I taped the other cut piece to the front of the card.

I cut a 2-7/8" x 2-1/2" piece of the DSP for the front. I made sure I got the dotted border in at the top and that there is room on both sides of the cauldron and the cat.  I taped that piece of DSP to a 3-1/8" x 2-3/4" piece of Basic Black card stock.

I added some Dimensionals to the one side of the back of the panel. You don't want to add it to the entire piece because you won't be able to open your card!

I stamped the words from the "Seasonal Chums" set using black Memento ink on Granny Apple Green card stock. I used the "Classic Label" to punch them out and I also set them in place with Dimensionals.

I took my black Sharpie marker and colored two crystal rhinestones and set them in place on either side of the words.  And that was it.

This was a fun and extremely quick card to make!  Plus I LOVE this layout.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
