A Petite Petals Birthday

Oh my, what a fun card I found while surfing the net. I am sorry but I don't have a direct link to the post at "Haley's Paper Garden".  When I found the card it didn't have a direct link. I did try to find it on her blog but gave up after a number of posts. She does have a lovely blog so the search was worth it but unproductive! Her card was done in lighter colors.  I used some fall colors. for my card.

The colors I used here are the new Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, and the ever so familiar Perfect Plum.  I also used Perfect Plum for the card stock.  Whisper White is the base of my card and the focal part to.

I did remember to add the pearls in the center of each flower before I took the photo!!!  Yup, I'm getting better at remembering the details!!

The flowers were set in place using Dimensionals.  The words are from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set and were stamped using Perfect Plum ink.  I taped the focal layer and the Perfect Plum layer together and then I used Dimensionals on that to attach it to the Whisper White base.

I used the "Petite Petals" set here for the flowers and they were punched out with the matching punch.  Such a quick and simple way to whip up about a hundred cards in no time!   And no, I didn't make a hundred of these!  Just the one!

Isn't it fun?  Such a sweet and simple card, huh?

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
