A Flower Patch Work of Art

Today's card is a copy from a card I found made by Beth at "Card Creations."  I did change it just a little.  I used different colors and different wording, but for the most part it's a copy!!

I love the simplicity of this card.  It's got a nice clean look to it too.  I think that is what attracted me to it in the first place.

I changed the colors because I wanted to make a fall looking card.  I used Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, and Tangelo Twist ink pads.  I used the Baked Brown Sugar for the zig zag image from the "Work of Art" set.

I stamped the words from the "Work of Art" set using Tangelo Twist.

The zig zag part was an interesting little technique.  You take the marker and color in the bottom strip.  Then you stamp off.  Next you color in the second strip and stamp off.  And finally you color in the top strip but you don't stamp off. You huff on the image to moisten all of the ink and then you stamp on your card stock.  Isn't that a cool little technique?

The flowers are from the "Flower Patch" set and they were cut out using the matching die!  I LOVE stamp sets that have matching punches or dies!!  They sure do save a lot of time.

The focal piece was put together using a dimensional on the center flower.  The rest of the flower and petals were just taped in place.  The panel was set in place on a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock and Dimensionals were added to the back.  SO simple and so sweet!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
