The Open Sea Masculine Card

I do so LOVE "The Open Sea" set.  It's one of the few masculine sets Stampin' Up! sells.  I found this layout at Kari's "Teigerlily Designs" site.  I thought it looked like a nice crisp clean masculine card.  Oh and not to mention easy to make too!

I did change the color of the blue ink.  She had used Midnight Muse.  I used Night of Navy only because I didn't have any Midnight Muse decorative paper.  I also changed the design on the paper from some geometric shapes to polka dots.  It works for me.  I like the simplicity of the card and I like the colors I used.  The base of the card is Crumb Cake and Crumb Cake ink was used for the background image.

White taffeta was tied around the card and tied in a knot on the front.  It doesn't get much simpler than that!

I was going to label this post "Masculine Monday" but I opted not to because I figured when Monday rolls around next week I will have made a bright flowery card and have completely forgotten about Masculine Monday!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
