The base of my cards is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock for the largest layer.
I cut a 3" x 3" piece of Basic White card stock for the smaller layer. I textured it using the "Beautiful Pattern" embossing folder. I glued them to the Flirty Flamingo piece leaving equal space on the sides and top. I set them under my beading mat to set up.
Next I popped out the images from the "Easter Time" mix & match ephemera package. I placed the eggs and the flowers behind them and added a piece of transparent tape to hold them together. I added Dimensionals on the back of the pieces, removed the backing and set them aside.
Using the "Happy" and "Easter" from the "Reason to Celebrate" set I put them together and then stamped them on the bottom of the Flirty Flamingo piece. I used my MISTI to line up the words evenly so I could stamp them without any issues. Then I taped this piece to the front of the card base.
The characters were added but I thought the card could use something more so I took the little butterflies from the "Softest Spring" mix and match puffy stickers package. And the cards were done.
These were fun to make and I'm sure the granddaughters will like them along with the candies! LOL
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Easter cards,
Wanda
