Sentimental Park, Sending Cheer, Joy of Christmas, Thank You Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun card to share with you that is still using the Christmas stamps and Designer Series Paper (DSP). I enjoy making thank you cards after Christmas using the current holiday sets. I was disappointed that I couldn't find a "Thank You" in my sets so I settled for "thanks". I'm not fond of the word "thanks", it just doesn't sound sincere enough to me. But I thought I'd use it since it was all I had that would work. Please read on to see how I made today's card.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of DSP from the "Joy of Christmas" package and taped it to the card base.

The words are from the "Sentimental Park" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I die cut it using the die from the "Sentimental Park" bundle.

Santa's hat was die cut using the "Sending Cheer" bundle. I used Real Red for the hat and Basic White for the fluff on the hat. I glued the fluff on the hat and then added a got of glue to the corner of the word piece and set the had in place. Dimensionals were added to the back of the piece and it was set in place on the front of the card.  And that was it, the card was done.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
