Hand-Penned Petals, Sweet Strawberry, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

From the same grouping of cards I referred to yesterday, I found another one on there that I thought was so pretty.  You can see the original card grouping here.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Misty Moonlight card stock.  I taped it to the Basic White card base.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 12" x 12" "Hand-Penned" package. I taped that to the top of the Misty Moonlight piece.

Next I die cut a scalloped stitched rectangle from the "Color & Contour" bundle.

The words are from the "Sweet Strawberries" and I stamped them using black Memento ink. I added Dimensionals to the back and I set it in place on the center of the card.

I stamped the flower from the "Hand-Penned Petals" set using black Memento ink. I colored the flowers in using my dark Petal Pink Blends pen. I colored the center of the smaller flower using the dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen.  I added some depth of color using the Blushing Bride ink pad and a Blender Pen. The leaves were colored in using the Garden Green ink pad and a Blender Pen. The piece was die cut using the matching die. I added Dimensionals to the back and I set it in place on top of the scalloped rectangle.

And for the final touch, I added a little vanilla organza bow to the flower stem, plus a dot of Wink of Stella in the center of the smaller flower.  Fun little touches can make a big difference.

This was a fun, quick, and easy card to make. Plus this card is very versatile too, it can be used for a number of different occasions/events.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
