Curvy Christmas, Itty Bitty Christmas, Christmas Card, 2020 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

I am running late today with my posting. Too many things going on during holiday time.  Not that we went anywhere, just cooking and oh the dishes!! Oh my, all the dishes!!! So here is what I came up with for today.

I bought the "Curvy Christmas, Quite Curvy, and Curvy dies bundle. I'm not sure why. I must have seen some cards done with them and got inspired.  I have no inspiration today, I have very little motivation!  LOL

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock.

I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White and I stamped the trees from the "Curvy Christmas" set using Shaded Spruce ink.  I stamped some snowflakes in the sky using the tiny little snowflake stamp that came in the set. I stamped it using Seaside Spray ink. I die cut the bottom edge using the dotted die from the "Curvy Dies" pack.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Classic Christmas" 6" x 6" paper stack. There's 48 sheets in one of those packs.  Such a challenge to use them up. I have yet to use up a pack!  I cut my DSP 2" x 3-7/8".  I taped it to the Basic Black piece, leaving a 1/8" edge. Then I taped on the Whisper White piece.

I stamped the words on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock using Real Red ink. The words are from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set. I used the second largest Stitched Circle die and cut the words out. I moved the die so there was room at the bottom for a snowflake. I did that because the die was a bit too big for the words alone. The smaller die was too small.  I also die cut a scalloped circle for the layer behind the word piece. I used Real Red card stock for that. I taped the two circles together.

I taped the Basic Black pieces on top of the card base. Then I added the word circles using Dimensionals. A small rhinestone was placed in the center of the snowflake and a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White was added to the inside of the card and it was done.

It's a quick and easy card to make. The line of trees is pretty but I think it looks more like a background for a car being the focal piece. Or something else being the focal piece. A moose or reindeer perhaps?? But this is how it looks for today!

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
