Witty-cisms, Baby Card, 2020 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog

Here's a cute little non-gender specific baby card.  I plan on making this same layout in Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana.  I won't be sharing them with you like this but I may post them all in one photo so you can see the fun colors.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

On top of the base is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White that was stamped with the "Buffalo Plaid" stamp using Daffodil Delight.  Set it up in your Stamparatus so you can stamp it over a couple of times to get a nice solid print.

I wrapped a piece of white ribbon around the top layer and taped the ends on the backside.  I taped them down with scotch tape. Then I taped the whole piece to the front of the card.

I took a piece of ribbon and tied the bow on the side.

Next I stamped the baby carriage image from the "Witty-cisms" set using black Memento ink.  I die cut it using the third smallest "Stitched Nested Labels" die.  I also die cut a Crushed Curry one the next size larger and then using the next size up from that I die cut a Whisper White one for the final layer.

I colored the carriage using the Daffodil Delight marker and added a little highlight using the Crushed Curry marker.  I colored the heart in using the Flirty Flaming marker.

I taped all of those layers together and set them in place on the front of the card over the ribbon.  I used Dimensionals to set it in place and that was it.  The card was done. So cute, so easy and oh SO quick!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
