Varied Vases, Medium Daisy Punch, Birthday Card

Today I made a very easy and pretty card.  Oh and it was fun to make too!

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock and textured it with the "Subtle" embossing folder.  Then I die cut a square from the center. I used the third largest "Stitched" square.  I thought it would make stitched marks on the outside, but I was wrong.  But it's okay, I got a square.  Though a little bit smaller square may have been better. Maybe.   I set the embossed piece on top of the card base using Dimensionals.

I used the Medium Daisy punch and punched out three flowers using Whisper White card stock.  I stuck them together in the center with glue dots.  Then I pressed the center in the palm of my hand and made the petals bend forward a bit.

I punched two leaves from the "Leaf" punch using Old Olive card stock.

I put a Dimensional on the center of the square.  I added the leaves and then I set the flower on top. I added a "Perennial Essence Floral Center" to the cute little daisy and made it even more adorable!

The words are from the "Varied Vases" set. I stamped them on Whisper White card stock using black Memento ink.  That was the only stamping done on this card.  I punched the words out using the "Classic Labels" punch. I set the words in place using small Dimensionals.  And that was it.

Isn't it cute? Adding that yellow center to the flower just made it look so cute!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
