Butterfly Gala, Perennial Essence, Butterfly Duet, Thank You Card

I saw a card on the internet that used the "Butterfly Duet" punch and Designer Series Paper (DSP) to make a pretty card.  I did not have the same papers so my card is not as stunning.  But I made do with what I had and I tried the card.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Gorgeous Grape card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of "Perennial Essence" DSP.  I cut a 2" x 2" square from the center of the DSP to use behind the butterflies.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 3" x 3-3/4".  I punched the butterfly out using the "Butterfly Duet" punch.  Then I stamped the words from the "Butterfly Gala" set using Gorgeous Grape ink.  I taped the DSP behind the butterfly and then taped this to a 3-1/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Crumb Cake card stock.   I added some Dimensionals to the back of the Crumb Cake card stock piece and set it in place on top of the DSP.

I added some pearls to the butterflies and a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside and the card was done.

This was a simple card to do.  You do need to go look at the original card. The DSP used there is SO pretty.  Or don't look at it and just think that mine is pretty.  LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
