So Hoppy Together, Itty Bitty Greetings, 2019 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration

This was one of the first Sale-a-Bration sets that I just had to have.  It was my first choice.  I think these frogs are adorable. The set is called "So Hoppy Together".

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Old Olive card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock.  And on top of that is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White. I did not add this piece until I was done stamping the words.

I cut the focal piece 2-1/4" x 4".  I cut the Basic Black layer 2-3/8" x 4-1/8".  I stamped the frog on a unicycle using black Memento ink. And then I stamped the flies.  They are on a single stamp so you don't have to mess around stamping it three times. I set the layered panel on top of the Whisper White to see where to stamp the words.  The words are from the "Itty Bitty Greeting" set.

I colored the frog in using the Old Olive Blends.  I colored in the tire, petals, seat and bar going down the center using the light Smoky Slate Blends.  I colored the flies bodies in using the Daffodil Delight Blends.  I also colored the eyes of the frog with the same yellow but I did it after I posted the photo on here.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the Animal Expedition" 12" x 12" paper pack.  I cut the piece 2" x 3-1/2".  I punched it using the "Banner Triple" punch.

I added Dimensionals to the frog layers. I set the banner piece in place but didn't tape it down. I hovered the frog layer over the card where I wanted it to go and tilted it just enough so only the banner piece stuck to it.  I added some snail tape to where the banner piece covered the Dimensionals.  I added some tape to the tips of the banner piece and I set the panel in place.

I added some glitter enamel dots to the front of the card and it was done. I like those glitter dots because they are not raised too high and it won't cost you extra postage.  I'd like to see some that look like the rhinestones, wouldn't that be fun?

This would be a great children's card, huh???

This was a fun card to make and I had a great time playing with the frog set.  Funny thing here, I don't like real frogs but cartoon ones are adorable.  Though I can say that about most things!  LOL

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
