Varied Vases, Thinking of You Card

I have not played with the "Varied Vases" set much this year and today is the last day of the year, so I thought I would squeeze it in!

I am totally out of "Thinking of You" cards so I will be making some in the upcoming weeks.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 5" x 2-1/2" piece of Petal Pink card stock.  I die cut the scalloped oval from that piece. I made sure I centered it because there wasn't any room for error.

I cut a piece of the "Share What You Love" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP) 4-7/8" x 2-3/8". I taped the two layers together and I then taped them to the card base.

I stamped the vase from the "Varied Vases" on Petal Pink card stock using black Memento ink.  I punched it out and set it aside while I die cut the stitched oval to fit the scalloped oval.

I used my Stamperatus to get the flowers in place on the oval.  The flowers are from the "Varied Vases" set.  I taped the ovals together.  I added Dimensionals to the vase and set it in place on the oval.  I colored three tiny pearls using the Blends Petal Pink marker.  I set those in place on the flowers.

The words are from the retired "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set. It was the only set I had that had small "thinking of you" words. I stamped them in black Memento ink.

I added Dimensionals to the ovals and set them in place and then I added a Dimensional to the right side of the word piece and snail tape to the left side and set the words in place.

This was a fun and quick card to make and I'm on my way to creating my stash of "thinking of you" cards!!!

I wish you all the best in the new year and I thank you ever SO much for visiting my blog,
Wanda
