Dandelion Wishes, Sheltering Tree, Bokeh, Thinking of You Card

Today I thought I would play with the "Dandelion Wishes" set.  I am out of "thinking of you" cards and this set came to mind. I did a search on Pinterest and I found a card that I sort of copied. You can see the original card here.

The base of my card is a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock.  The card stock was cut in half on the 8-1/2" side. This card opens at the bottom.

On top of the base is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock. I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White and I was ready to stamp the "Bokeh" image.

I stamped the "Bokeh" image using Highland Heather ink.  I cut the image out on the paper cutter.  I stamped the dandelions from the "Dandelion Wishes" set using Gorgeous Grape ink.  I stamped them three times, inking each time.

I layered the "Bokeh" piece using a 2-1/4" x 3-3/8" Gorgeous Grape card stock.  I taped those two layers together and set it on the Whisper White piece to see where I needed to stamp the words.

The words are from the "Sheltering Tree" set. I used Gorgeous Grape to stamp them. I taped all of the layers together and set them in place on the card base and the card was done.

I thought it was a pretty quick card to make, basically. I had originally wanted to use a blue to make the card but ended up with the purples.  I think I like them much better!

I'm still fighting a cold so if my sentences don't make sense, that is why.  This cold is getting the best of me.  I rarely get sick and I'm not gracious at being sick!!! I don't have the time for it (who does). I just want it to go away quickly!  I hope none of you get this, it's awful!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
