Hearts Come Home, Snowfall Thinlits, Christmas Card

Grab some snowflakes and whip up this super quick card.

I did have a few of the snowflakes on hand but I still had to die cut a couple, so it's not like I was entirely using stuff I had on hand.  But even if I had to die cut all of the snowflakes, this card still wouldn't take that long to make.

The base of my card is a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock.  I die cut most of the snowflakes from the "Snowfall" Thinlits dies.  The center snowflake on the largest one was from a Christmas stocking set that retired last year. I still had a few snowflakes sitting around here.  That snowflake was die cut using the Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper.

The center snowflake on the largest snowflake was die cut from the silver foil card stock.  I had that one sitting on my worktable from another project.

The other snowflakes are all die cut using Whisper White card stock.

I stamped the "Joy" from the "Hearts Come Home" set.  I masked off the rest of the "to the world" on the stamp so I could just use the "Joy" like was done on the original card I found on Pinterest.  It's not a Stampin' Up! card but you can use what you have and make other cards into ones using Stampin' Up! products.  I used black Memento ink to stamp the "Joy".

I used glue dots to set the smaller snowflakes in place. I set the larger snowflake in place using a Dimensional.  I used glue dots to add the other two snowflakes to the larger one.

I got out my scoring board and scored lines from the top of the card stock to the tip of the snowflakes. I turned the card over and redid those lines so they would look like a bump on the front of the card and not an indentation.  It looks more like a string if it's not indented.

Once I was done with that I added rhinestones to the center of each snowflake and the card was complete.

I thought it was a fun, quick and very pretty card to make

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
