Beautiful Blizzard, Snowfall Thinlits Dies, Christmas Card

Today's card would be a great female Christmas card.  I thought it would be fun to play with the Powder Pink ink and card stock today.  And of course the "Beautiful Blizzard" stamp set and the "Snowfall" thinlits dies.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Powder Pink card stock. I die cut the center snowflake from the center of that piece before I taped it to the card base.  I used Wink of Stella on this snowflake and I set it aside to dry.

I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the background image from the "Beautiful Blizzard" stamp set. I inked it up with Powder Pink and stamped it on the card.  I turned the image 180 degrees, inked it up again and stamped below the first image I stamped.

The words are from the "Beautiful Blizzard" set. I stamped them using black Memento ink.

I die cut the large and smallest snowflake using Whisper White card stock.

I taped the large snowflake in place. Then the Powder Pink one on top of it.  I used a glue dot to set the smallest white snowflake in place. I added a tiny rhinestone to the center and the card was done.

It was a pretty quick card to make and an adorable pink card for a special little girl!! I did struggle with it because this is SO out of my element (color wise). I wanted to grab the Balmy Blue ink pad and card stock but I decided to step out of my box and go for it!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
