Petal Promenade, Dandelion Wishes, Wedding Card

Today I did not make a Christmas card or any card using "Seasonal Chums"!!  I had actually put the stamp set back on the shelf. If you can believe that!!! I had stampers over today, so I did need to clean up my room and worktables!  I ran across a 2" x 5-1/4" piece of this pretty flowered paper and I thought I would make a card with it.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Powder Pink card stock.

I taped the 2" x 5-1/4" piece of "Petal Promenade" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I never toss out any scraps of DSP.  You never know when it will come in handy.  After taping the DSP to the card stock I took the pretty Silver and White "Metallic Edge Ribbon" and I wrapped it around the front of the card and taped the ends to the backside using scotch tape.  I then taped the layers to the card base.

The words are from the "Dandelion Wishes" set. I stamped them using Mossy Meadow ink.  I die cut them using a stitched oval die.  I also die cut a Mossy Meadow scalloped oval for the back layer. I taped the two ovals together and set them in place on the card using Dimensionals.

This was a super quick and pretty wedding card.  It could also be a beautiful Mother's Day card, Get Well card, Sympathy card or an Anniversary card.

Thank you SO much for visiting,
Wanda
