Seasonal Chums, Swirls & Curls Embossed, Christmas Card

Finally some time to stamp today. It's been a very busy day and I have a feeling that it's going to continue like this until after the holidays.  UGH!!!

This was a fun card to make and I promise I will put away my "Seasonal Chums" set for a while and find something else to make. I just have this feeling that it will NOT be in the 2019-2020 catalog.  I just think it's such a fun and cute set to play with.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Poppy Parade.  Before I did anything else with that piece I die cut a scalloped circle that fit the second largest stitched circle die.

I embossed a piece of 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" Whisper White card stock using the "Swirls & Curls" textured impressions folder.  I taped this piece over the Poppy Parade layer.

I cut a 1-1/2" piece of the striped paper from the "Santa's Workshop" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP).  You can feel the fuzz on the white part of the stripes. I wrapped a 7" piece of Poppy Parade textured weave ribbon around the front of the card and taped the ends on the backside.  I made a bow separate and set it in place using a glue dot.  I  set the layers on the card base using snail tape.

I taped the circles together and set them in place on the card using Dimensionals.  I added Dimensionals to the cute deer from the "Seasonal Chums" set and set it in place on top of the circles.  And that was it.  You could add some words to the upper right corner if you wish. I left it plain.

I thought it was a fun card to make. I found one on Pinterest and I changed it just a little.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
