November 2018 Paper Pumpkin, Christmas Card

One more altered Paper Pumpkin card before I move on to something else.  I have found SO many fun and clever cards made using this month's kit.  I may have to make one more (but not for tomorrow) because I thought it was such a fun use of the pieces in the kit.  The original card was found here on Pinterest.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Crumb Cake.  Though this Crumb Cake piece from the kit has white on the inside.  Being I cut a piece of the checkered card stock, I will end up using the other half on a half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White on the inside.

I took a piece of the wood look paper from a 6" x 6" pack of paper from the regular catalog.  The plaid piece was cut at 1-3/4".  I did save the 1/4" piece from cutting that 4" piece in half and then cutting it down for this card.

I stamped the words from the Paper Pumpkin kit on Whisper White card stock using Cherry Cobbler ink.  I stamped the branches from the kit using Old Olive ink. I die cut the circle and before I set it in place with Dimensionals, I added the 2 green sprigs from the Paper pumpkin kit.  I added three gold sequins and the card was done.

This was a very fun card. I have yet to make a card from the kit without altering it.  I do like the cards in the kit as they are but there's SO many fun altered cards to copy or to come up with on my own.

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
