Petal Palette, Delicate Lace Edgelits, Wedding Card

I suppose this could be either a wedding or anniversary card. I'm calling it a wedding card today.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White.

I die cut two "Delicate Lace" pieces from the Edgelits dies.  I glued them to the top and bottom of the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White. I did cut off 1/8" on the straight edge. I wanted to make sure I got it straight.

I wrapped some silver fine thread around the card and taped the ends on the backside.

The words are from the "Petal Palette" set and I embossed them with silver embossing powder. I cut that piece of Whisper White 1-5/8" x 2-1/2".  I set it in place using Dimensionals.

I set the 4" x 5-1/4" piece in place using Dimensionals.  And that was it.  It's a super quick and easy wedding card.  I thought it was very fun to make too!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

  1. Love how you used that embossing folder. It really makes a great card. I have used it to emboss the flap on the envelope. Beautiful card.
