Floral Frames, Foliage Frames, Wedding Card

Today I created another wedding card. I had just gotten the "Floral Frames" bundle and thought I would make a wedding card with it.  I really wanted to use the glitter paper on this card but I struggled with it at first but after playing with the pieces I came up with what you see here.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  The card stock was cut in half on the 8-1/2" side. This card opens at the bottom.

I die cut the circle piece, a couple of flower pieces and the fern looking pieces.  Both of the flower pieces needed some work. One was a cluster of three which I ended up cutting one flower from it and the other was a set of two, which I cut one flower from.  I ended up with four flowers all together. I cut two fern images and two - three petal leaves.

The center of the large circle piece was solid so I took a 2" circle punch and punched away the center. It turns out the center is just a little larger than 2" so I had to punch pieces off around it to make the majority of it all go away.  I glued this piece in place on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.

I stamped the words that were in the "Floral Frames" set using black Memento ink.

I added the flowers in place using Dimensionals.  I added a little glue to the fern pieces and the three petal pieces and set them in place.

I added pearls to the center of each flower.  And for the final touch, I tied the "Polka Dot Tulle" ribbon around the card and tied a bow in the front. I added a glue dot just under the bow knot to keep it in place.  I added the panel to the card base using Dimensionals and the card was done.

I do like how this card turned out. I think it's got the sparkle I was looking for and the elegant look of a wedding card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
