Share What You Love, August 2018 Paper Pumpkin, Sympathy Card

I had some pieces of the "Share What You Love" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP) in the pack and I thought I would find a use for them. So here is what I did with it.

I took a folded half-sheet of Berry Burst card stock and cut off 2".  Then I cut a 2-1/8" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic Black card stock.  I taped that in place on the front flap of the card. Then I cut a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of the SDSP and set in in place on top of the Basic Black piece. My piece was already cut 2" so all I needed to do was trim it to 5-1/2".

I die cut a scalloped oval using Basic Black card stock.  Then I die cut a Berry Burst card stock oval.

I stamped the words from the August 2018 Paper Pumpkin using black Memento ink.  I die cut them with the stitched oval die.  I taped those ovals together and then I set them in place on the card. I used Dimensionals and only on the left side.

I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card and it was done.  This is a very quick card to make and it's a nice way to use up your scraps.  If you don't like how this card opens, you can always leave the front uncut, though I would recommend adding some texture or images to it so it won't look so plain.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
