Petal Promenade, Sympathy Card

While looking through all of the images in the "Petal Promenade" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper pack (DSP), one of the sheets has 6 square images and 3 rectangle images.  On today's card I used one of the rectangle ones.

The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 5-1/8" x 3-3/4" piece of Berry Burst card stock.  And on top of that is the rectangle piece from the "Petal Promenade" pack.  I didn't measure it, it was just cut and trimmed it on the edges and then worked backwards with the layers.

I stamped the words from the August 2018 Pumpkin stamps.  I used black Memento ink to stamp them.  I did set it up in the Stamperatus so I could get it lined up and even on the DSP.  I have used it so much with my word stamping, mostly because I don't want to not get enough ink on the stamp and have it not stamped evenly. If I don't get enough ink I can just re-ink the image and stamp again.

I taped the image to the Berry Burst card stock and then wrapped a piece of ribbon around it and taped the ends to the back. I took a small piece of ribbon and tied it to the front of the card. I set that panel in place on top of the card base using Dimensionals. And that was it.  It's a pretty quick card to make.  Oh, and pretty too!!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
