Perennial Birthday, Touches of Texture, Petal Promenade, Birthday Card

I found this beautiful card on Pinterest and made a few little changes but for the most part I copied it!!!  I thought it was such a pretty card that I had to figure out how to make it. I did click on the photo but all it did was go to gmail.  I don't know what that is all about.  So I will post the measurements that I used here.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Sahara Sand card stock.  This card opens on the right.

The layer on top of the card base is Powder Pink cut 4" x 5-1/4".

Next is a 4-7/8" x 3-5/8" piece of Sahara Sand card stock.  On top of that is a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White that I stamped the lacy image from the "Touches of Texture" using Sahara Sand ink. I repeated the image seven times.  The three layers were taped to the card base.

I took a 3-7/8" x 2-1/2" piece of Sahara Sand card stock. On top of that is a 3-3/4" x 2-3/8" piece of Whisper White card stock.  And on top of that is a 3-5/8" x 2-1/4" piece of the "Petal Promenade" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Those three layers were taped together and set in place on the card front using Dimensionals.

The words are from the "Perennial Birthday" set and were stamped on Whisper White using Powder Pink ink. The panel was cut 7/8" x 3-3/8".  The Sahara Sand layer behind it was cut 1" x 3-1/2".  Those were taped together and then taped in place on top of the DSP panel.

This card had lots of pieces but now with the measurements it will be easier and quicker to make another one. I thought this would be a very pretty wedding or Mother's Day card too.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
