Petal Palette, Love What You Do, Thank You Card, 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I still have to admit that the "Petal Palette" bundle. I LOVE these roses, plus I don't have to fussy cut them!!

This is a very quick and simple card to make.  Really, trust me!

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White and on top of that there is another piece of Whisper White cut 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".

Next I took a scrap piece of Whisper White and stamped the "thank you" from the "Love What You Do" set using black Memento ink.  I punched it out using the "Everyday Labels" punch.  I cut another piece of Whisper White 2-5/8" x 1-5/8".  I set the punched piece on top of the small piece using Dimensionals.  I then set this on top of the card front. I didn't tape it in place. I needed to know where to stamp the solid tiny leaf branch from the Love What You Do" set. It's actually the solid part that you would stamp in color to fill in the outlined stamped image (we are not using that image).  I stamped that image twice using Pear Pizzazz ink. You can't see the second image.  But that's okay, if you move the image differently than I do, it may show up.

Next I stamped the flower image from the "Petal Palette" set and I also die cut the leafy branch image at the same time. The flowers were stamped on Whisper White card stock and the leafy branch image was die cut using Pear Pizzazz card stock.  I did trim off a few of the larger branch pieces so I could place them under the flower image when I was done.

Now you can tape the words in place. I used a few small Dimensionals on the flower piece, but only on that upper left flower.  It stuck enough to hold the piece in place. You can also add a little snail to the inner flowers where they touch the "thank you" piece.  I didn't. I found the Dimensionals were enough to hold the image in place.  I added some tape to the leafy branch pieces and set them in place behind the flowers.

Tape the two top large layers together and set them on the card base using Dimensionals and that is it. It's pretty simple to make and very elegant. I love the look of the "thank you" off to the right while the left holds all the color.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
