Better Together, Share What You Love, Love What You Do, Birthday Card

I found this fun card on Pinterest. And as usual I did make a few minor changes.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Mint Macaron. The fold is on the left and this card opens on the right.

I cut a piece of the "Share What You Love" Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP) 4" x 5-1/4".  I cut a 3/4" x 5-1/2" strip of Mint Macaron card stock. I cut a 2-11/16" circle of Mint Macaron and a Basic Black scalloped circle to compliment it. I stamped 3 leaves from the "Love What You Do" set. I fussy cut a three flower cluster with leaves and a single flower.  I cut a 4" x 1-1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock and punched the one end. I stamped the words from the "Better Together" set using black Memento ink.  And you will need a 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" piece of vellum, some tiny pearls and a few Dimensionals!!!  Grab your baker's twine and we're off to assemble!!

Tape the SDSP to the card base.  Add the strip to the left. Add the vellum piece.  Tape the circle layers together and set them in place on the card front using Dimensionals.  Add the word piece using Dimensionals.  Next I tied on the baker's twine and tied a bow.  I glued on the fussy cut flowers on the left side and on the right I set the little single flower using a dimensional.  I added tiny pearls to all the little flowers and that was it.  Other than the fussy cutting it was super quick. Though it didn't take that long to cut out, it's just I'm not a big fan of fussy cutting!!

I love the colors of this card and that SDSP is SO pretty. And this one you can actually see the "S". It's for specialty but I like to refer to it as shimmer.   The shimmer is on the larger flowers and in real life it's very pretty.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
