Dandelion Wishes, Happy Birthday Gorgeous, Birthday Card

Today's card was quick and fun to make.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Pacific Point card stock. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock. And on top of that is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock.

I cut a 4-1/4" x 3" piece of scrap card stock.  I set it on top of the Whisper White piece and lightly traced a line around it using a pencil.  I will erase the lines later with a kneadable eraser. If you don't have one of those, I highly recommend you go to your local craft store and get one. They can be formed to a nice point or just left as they are. I remove the eraser from my mechanical pencils and take a piece of the eraser and form it into a cone and put it in the end of the pencil.  They are a must. They do not ruin your paper, they only remove the graphite.

I took my piece and stamped the image from the "Dandelion Wishes" set. Then I stamped the words from the "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" set.  I set the 4-1/4" x 3" piece of scrap card stock back on the Whisper White piece and I traced around it using my Pacific Point marker.

Next I took a sponge dauber and sponged Pacific Point ink in the center of each dandelion.  You may want to let the card sit for a few minutes before you erase the pencil marks so the marker doesn't smear.  In the meantime you can tape all the layers together and add a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside.  Once you erase the lines you are done!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
