Picture Perfect, Happy Birthday Thinlits, Birthday Card

I'm going to be making this post a short one since my computer is deciding to be super slow for some odd reason tonight and I don't have time right now to research why.

Today's card is a very fun and super quick one.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Calypso Coral. On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Decorative Series Paper from the "Picture Perfect" 6" x 6" pack.  I have hardly used this paper.  I guess I thought the photo images were just too busy looking for my taste. I have used some pieces of the DSP, but they were from the backside of the photo images.

For this card I used the party horns image.  On top of that I had die cut the "Happy Birthday from the "Happy Birthday" thinlits.  I die cut them using the double sided sheet so my wording became a sticker.  I removed the protective layer and affixed the words to the front.  I was going to leave it as it was but I thought the card could use a little sparkle so I colored the words with the "Wink of Stella" pen.  Now if I were to make more, I would color the words before affixing them. It would take less time, I had to be very careful not to get the Wink of Stella on the photo image piece.

It's a super quick card to make!!!  And it's okay.  Not sure I would make another one though.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda

  1. I love this Picture Perfect paper to make a quick, fun card. Seeing the party horns would make the recipient smile, then stamp one of the cute sentiments inside and in the mail it goes. Enjoy your Memorial weekend.
