You've Got This, Petal Palette, Mother's Day Card

I thought I would make some Mother's Day cards since it's about a month away.  I used an old retired set for the words. It's from the "Delightful Dozen" set.

Now to look at this card you would think that the leaves are sticking beyond the edges of the card. They are not, it's just the horrible way I take photos!! LOL

This is a very easy card to make.  First I stamped the flower from the "You've Got This" set using VersaMark ink. Then I embossed it using gold embossing powder.  I colored it in with the Blends markers. I love coloring with them. I think this one I may have used the Blendabilities because I still have them.  My Old Olive dried up but I just added some rubbing alcohol to it (the 91%) and it writes and colors again!

I die cut the largest Stitched circle and stamped the words from the "Delightful Dozen" set.  I set the flower in place using Dimensionals.

Next I stamped the burlap background image from the "You've Got This" set using Crumb Cake ink.
Then I stamped the leaves from the "Petal Palate" set using Pear Pizzazz ink.  I inked the image once and stamped three times.  Then I added some die cut branches from the "Petal Palette" bundle. I used Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz card stock.  I taped them to the back of the circle along with some find gold thread I had wound around my fingers.  I set the circle in place using Dimensionals And for the final touch I added a loop of lace to the circle around the 5 o'clock position.  You really have to look for it to see it!! And that was it.  I find it kind of messy looking, especially on the screen here!  In real life it's messy looking!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
