Merry Patterns, Snowflakes Sentiments, Swirly Snowflakes, Christmas Card

This was a fun and pretty card to make.  The original was made by "Chat" but I can't find a link to the card, sorry. But other than the ribbon it looks just like my card.

The snowflakes are from the "Swirly Snowflakes" thinlits.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  In top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Night of Navy.  On top of that is a 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Smoky Slate and before I added the 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White, I did cut out the two snowflakes using the dies from the "Swirly Snowflakes" thinlits.  I stamped the words from the "Snowflake Sentiments" set and set the Whisper White piece in place on top of the Smoky Slate piece. I taped a silver snowflake to the Night of Navy card stock toward the bottom.  Then I taped those layers to the Night of Navy piece. Before taping the Night of Navy piece to the card base I tied the ribbon around it.  The original card had a Marina Mist colored ribbon and a bow.  It was pretty, but I didn't have that ribbon.  I could have tried to color this ribbon but I opted to leave it white.  I added the snowflakes and some rhinestones and the card was done.

It's a pretty quick card to make, very easy and lots of fun!

Thank you ever SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
