Colorful Season, Double Dutch Door Technique

Today I'm going to share with you a card I made at one of Terri's Tuesday Technique Nights.  This is called the "Double Dutch Door" technique.  It's super easy to do too! You can find the instructions to do this technique here.

The color used here is Old Olive.  The Decorative Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Color Theory" pack.  This DSP comes in a 6" x 6" stack.  I LOVE these stacks, there is a lot of paper in them and I have yet to use one up!

The leaf is from the Colorful Season" set.  Well, it's actually from the "Seasonal Layers" Thinlits set.  It's die cut using the gold foil paper.  You really can't see that in the photo, but the gold foil is REALLY pretty on here.

The top layers are set in place using Dimensionals.  Make sure you only use tape or Dimensionals on the upper part or you will tape your card shut!  (Been there, done that! and not so proud of it!  LOL).

It's a very simple and fun technique to do, so give it a try!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
