Delightful Daisy, Rose Wonder, Birthday Card

Once again I managed to create a quick and simple card without even trying!!!  I had no idea where I was going with this card. I had the daisy punch sitting on my worktable and I thought I would punch out a couple of flowers.  I taped the two together and added the burlap ribbon behind it using glue dots.  I used the "Color Theory" Designer Series Paper (DSP) 6" x 6" pack and I punched out a 3/4" circle using the Daffodil Delight color.  I found a spot on the crackled image that looked like it could pass for a flower center.  I set that center in place with a Dimensional.

From there I got out a piece of the "Delightful Daisy" DSP and cut a 2" x 5" piece and taped it in place on a folded half-sheet of Night of Navy card stock.  I set the flower on top but I didn't affix it to the card yet, I wasn't sure where I wanted it.

I also used the Daffodil Delight "Color Theory" DSP to die cut the scalloped oval.  The words were stamped from the "Rose Wonder" set using Night of Navy ink.

I set the words and flower in place with Dimensionals.  And that was it.  I quit while I was ahead!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
