Tranquil Tulips, Beautiful Bouquet, Birthday Card

I was looking for some samples on Google for the "Tranquil Tulips" set and I ran across one something like this.  I say "something like it" because I did change the wording, but for the most part, it looks like the card you can view here.

The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Early Espresso cardstock.  On top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the new in color "Powdered Pink".  I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 2-1/4" x 4-1/2".  I stamped the leaves using the new Lemon Lime Twist ink pad.  The flowers were stamped using Powdered Pink ink and cut out by hand.  I know, fussy cutting UGH!!!  The bud things were stamped using Early Espresso ink and again cut out by hand. The center of the flowers were stamped using Early Espresso ink as well as the words.  The words are from the "Beautiful Bouquet" set.  I die cut them using the stitched oval die and then layered with the scalloped oval die.

The flowers, bud things and word layer piece were all set in place using Dimenionals.  And that was it.  It's a pretty simple card to make and even with the fussy cutting, it really didn't take that long to make.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
