Happy Birthday Gorgeous, Timeless Textures, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Thank You Card

I needed to make a thank you card for a special friend who is doing me a big favor.  I wanted to make a card with a bit more pizzazz to it than just a few layers and a "thank you" attached.  I surfed the net and found a fun card that I copied a lot of the elements in it.  You can see that card here.  I did make some changes though. I added a scallop to the background circle layer.

I used the "Timeless Textures" set for the lacy filigree in the background.  The original card had splatters.  I did like the splatters, but I thought the filigree thing would look more elegant with the roses. I stamped off using Sweet Sugar Plum ink.

I stamped the flowers using Pirouette Pink and Sweet Sugar Plum inks. I fussy cut each one out.  I stamped the leaves using Pear Pizzazz cardstock and Wild Wasabi ink.  I fussy cut those out.  And for those pod things, I stamped them using Pear Pizzazz ink.  I colored in the top with Daffodil Delight and the bottom part using Pear Pizzazz markers.  And again, I fussy cut those out.

For the ribbon piece, I cut a 1" x 3" piece of Whisper White cardstock. Then I cut a 1-1/4" piece of Sweet Sugar Plum cardstock for the layer behind it.  I used the "Banner Triple" punch and punched one end of each.  I taped the layers together and trimmed the top part as needed.

The words are from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.  I used Rich Razzleberry ink and I punched it out using the "Classic Label" punch. I also punched out two more using Sweet Sugar Plum cardstock and I layered one on the top of the word piece and one on the bottom.

I used a lot of Dimensionals on this card. There's a lot of depth to this card.  I'm pleased at how this card turned out.  I think my friend will like it too!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
