Dragonfly Dreams, Falling in Love, Birthday Card

I LOVE this "Dragonfly Dreams" set.  This is the first time I have played with it.  I was saving it for the interim time when the other sets I love are retired and the new ones I'm going to be loving are in transit!!!  To a stamp lover, that's a VERY long time!!! LOL  But I still have some sets that didn't retire so I can play with them too.

This is a very simple and quick card to make.  And yet it's SO pretty!

I used a folded half sheet of Whisper White cardstock.  I let a piece of Basic Black cardstock on top, it measured 3-1/4" x 4-3/8".  Then I cut a piece of the "Falling In Love" Designer Series Paper (DSP) to 3" x 4-1/8".  I chose this color of DSP from the package because I thought the dragonfly against it would give a very stunning effect.  I was right!!!

I stamped the words that were in the "Butterfly Dreams" set.  I die cut the dragonfly using Basic Black cardstock.  I set it in place with a piece of Dimensional.  Then I added 3 different sizes of rhinestones and that was it. Seriously, that was it!! I just LOVE the look of this card!!

This would also make a beautiful sympathy card, get well card, or thinking of you card.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
