A Botanical Builder and Designer Tin of Cards Birthday Card

Today I'm going to share with you a fallish card. Since it's September, it's time to get away from the pastel and bright papers and into something more fall looking.  You can't go wrong with any shade of orange now!!!

For my card I used Pumpkin Pie card stock for the base and for the layer. I used Pumpkin Pie Decorative paper for the strip of wording.

I used Tangerine Tango for the flower and I used Garden Green for the leaf. The center of the flower is Whisper White, Early Espresso and the dot is just a punched piece of Pumpkin Pie.  I set the flower with the leaf in place using a Dimensional.

The words are from the "Designer Tin of Cards" set.  It has a lot of fun wording in it.  I chose this one because it fit so well in that corner.  I used Early Espresso ink to stamp it.

I set the top layered focal in place using Dimensionals.  And I also used the new "Festive" embossing folder.

This was a fun and easy card to make.  I like this layout and I think I'm going to have to try it for some more fall and some winter or Christmas cards.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
